Grupo Carismatico

Overview

Grupo Carismatico is a dedicated community group that meets every Saturday to nurture spiritual growth and fellowship. These gatherings are centered around intercessory prayer, praise, and thoughtful reflection, creating a supportive environment for all participants.

Weekly Meetings

Each Saturday, members come together to engage in meaningful prayer and worship. The group lifts up prayers specifically for the well-being of parish members, focusing on both their spiritual and physical health. This regular practice helps strengthen bonds within the parish and provides comfort and encouragement to those in need.

Community Commitment

The commitment of Grupo Carismatico extends beyond weekly meetings. Members actively participate in retreats organized with the Diocese of Allentown. These retreats are designed to foster deeper spiritual growth and unity within the community, reinforcing the group’s dedication to holistic well-being and faith development.

Guadalupe Group

Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The group comes together annually to celebrate the feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th. This special occasion is marked by communal prayer, reflection, and festivities that honor the significance of Our Lady of Guadalupe in their faith community.

Mission and Evangelization Efforts

The core aim of the group is to evangelize during the December novena. In the weeks leading up to the feast, the group organizes for the statue of Our Lady of Guadalupe to visit families in need—preferably those who are Spanish-speaking. These visits are scheduled weekly in the months preceding the feast, ensuring that as many families as possible can participate.

Family Visits and Community Building

Families who welcome the statue into their homes are encouraged to gather in prayer and reflection. This tradition fosters a deeper connection to both their faith and the broader community. Each visit includes a brief service and an opportunity for all present to share their intentions. Through these moments, families in need are offered comfort and hope, inspired by the presence and intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
